Children's Learning Center
IS NOW OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT. One parent/grandparent must be an employee of NHHN or one parent must be affiliated with NHHN through the benefits program or must be on medical staff to enroll their child.
All
teachers at Children's Learning Center of NHHN plan activities and prepare
the environment to meet the cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and
creative development of each child. Our infant and toddler curriculum
is designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Infants and toddlers
are always learning so it is critical that the teachers make the most
out of daily routines and provide a stimulating learning environment.
The Older Preschool classroom continues with Phase 2 of the Scholastic
curriculum. They will be provided with real world connections so as to
build a solid foundation in language and literacy. The Pre-K classrooms
use a comprehensive curriculum called Let's Begin With The Letter People.
This program focuses on oral language, preparation for literacy, and phonological
awareness.
Philosophy
Children's Learning Center of NHHN provides a positive learning environment
where children can develop in a stimulating and secure setting. The foundation
of our school is to recognize the individuality of each child and encourage
them to learn, grow, and build confidence.
